Long Time

Well, it's been a looonnngg time since I last posted anything out here. Just been busy with everything I have going on with Kids, Wife, and Work. Since my last post I did pass my CCNA-Wireless test. I was placed on our Enterprise Wireless Initiative at work which forced me to learn enough to pass my CCNA-Wireless. I promise 2011 will be just as busy and to post here more offten.

So to catch everyone up, I am starting again for my CCIE. But first, back to the CCNP - I let it expire like a dummy! Opps. Oh well, it will get me back into the groove of trying to study for my numbers. A goal of mine for several years now.

So with that being said, let the studying begin! I will try to pick a topic and post about it to help me learn as I go forward with my study towards the CCIE.

Cisco Lab

Well I finally got my lab put together. I have been working on getting all the pieces put together for about a month now. So now I can start doing my own labs. Here is a picture of my lab!!

Cisco 2851 w/ 4 x "VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 - 2-Port RJ-48 Multiflex Trunk - T1/E1" cards acting as my Frame-Relay switch

I plan on adding a couple Cisco 2620s to the mix, but need to get memory before I can add them to my lab.

Well now that I have everything setup once and for all I can begin studying more and becoming more focused on the objective - CCIE!

Welcome to my first posting. I am writing this blog to document my path towards my end goal of becoming a Cisco CCIE. With a lot of hard work and determination, not to mention support from my family and friends, I know I will achieve my goal. It may take me longer than I would like, but I will get there none the less.
